What is a cash based physical therapy clinic?
Avoid insurance co-pays and high deductible costs. Cash based clinics offer the same quality services for physical therapy, but cuts out the middle man. Pay your therapist directly at a much lower cost for service.
Ideal for patients who have high deductibles, no insurance, or want to easy access to a physical therapist for a couple sessions.
As a cash based clinic we are recognized as an out-of-network provider for therapy services. However, our rates for services are significantly lower and pay for only what you really need.
What types of health insurance do you accept?
At re+active WELLness we are a cash-based physical therapy practice. We accept cash, check, credit card, and HSA cards. A health savings account (HSA) can provide you the ability to see and utilize physical therapy services in this private practice setting without taking money directly out of your pocket.
By seeing physical therapist in a cash-based setting you can extend the life of your HSA account by paying for the same quality care at a much lower rate compared to cooperate physical therapy practices.
A receipt is provided to you and you can submit these receipts to your insurance for reimbursement for care from an out-of-network provider. These receipts may be applied towards your insurance deductible depending on your health insurance plan.
Do you accept and can you treat Medicare patients?
We are currently credentialed as a non-participating provider for Medicare recipients. Therefore, we are not able to see patients with Medicare at this time for physical therapy services. However, we are able to see patients with Medicare for wellness visits as these are non-covered services under Medicare. Please stay tuned and contact us for more information regarding wellness options and packages!
Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
Direct access in the states of Minnesota allows a patient to be treated by a physical therapist for up to 90 days before needing to see a physician, so no therapy order needed! Of course we will communicate with your doctor as needed!
How much does it cost for a session?
As a patient, we will perform an evaluation on the first session. Based on your needs, Theresa will develop a plan of care with goals. The number of sessions needed to reach these goals and cost will be discussed.
